Private lessons are for the owner who truly wants to be part of the process. This is not a drop off and pick up situation. You are on the field with your dog every single session and more importantly you are practicing every single day at home between our appointments. I work with clients who are committed, dedicated, and willing to put in the daily effort it takes to see real change.

To keep progress moving between sessions I require all private lesson clients to send video updates of their training as well as weekly check ins. This keeps me in the loop, keeps you accountable, and means we are never walking into a session starting from scratch. If you are looking for someone to fix your dog for you, private lessons are not the right fit. If you are ready to show up and do the work, this is exactly where you need to be.

In Home and On Location Sessions take place at your home, a local park, or a public space, wherever makes the most sense for what we are working on at that stage of training. Available within 10 miles of zip code 85083.

At Rachael's Home For clients outside the travel radius or dogs that need a more controlled training environment. My home is set up for training. I have the equipment, the space, and my own dogs available to work around when appropriate. This is a great option for dogs that need structured exposure to other dogs in a controlled setting before working in public.

Virtual Lessons Virtual lessons are available for the right situations. This format works well for simple, management based issues like potty training, marking, jumping, chewing, and crate training. These are situations that can be coached effectively over video. Virtual is not appropriate for complex behavioral issues like reactivity, anxiety, or leash problems. If you are unsure whether your situation is a good fit for virtual, reach out and we can figure it out together.

Programs and Pricing

Starter Program — 3 Sessions | $400 Sessions must be used within 90 days of purchase.

This program is ideal for dogs who are mostly manageable but need work on one or two specific things, or for new puppy owners who want to get started on the right foot early. Sessions may cover things like basic commands, leash manners, jumping, crate introduction, or foundational obedience skills. Where you and your dog end up at the end of three sessions depends entirely on the work you put in between appointments.

Standard Program — 5 Sessions | $650 Sessions must be used within 90 days of purchase.

This is the most commonly recommended program after a meet and greet. It is a good fit for dogs with moderate obedience gaps, inconsistent commands, or developing behavior issues that need consistent structured work over several weeks. Sessions may cover obedience foundations, leash manners, impulse control, distraction training, and handler coaching. Progress is a team effort and what we accomplish together depends on your consistency at home between sessions.

Intensive Program — 8 Sessions | $950 Sessions must be used within 90 days of purchase.

This program is designed for more complex situations that need significant time and consistent coaching to work through. It may be a good fit for reactive dogs whose owners are committed and capable of doing the work, dogs working toward off leash reliability, or any situation where ongoing hands on guidance is needed over an extended period. Sessions may cover behavior modification, advanced obedience, off leash work, real world proofing, and handler skill building. Eight sessions gives us time to work through layers properly but results will always reflect the effort and consistency you bring outside of our time together.

Single Session — $145

Ideal for existing clients, quick follow ups, or a one time specific issue that needs to be addressed. No program commitment required. Please note that one session is typically not enough time to make significant progress on most training goals. If you are just getting started, a program will almost always serve you and your dog better.

Additional Sessions — $145 each
