This is a Canine Good Citizen evaluation only. No training is included during the test.

The CGC evaluation assesses your dog’s ability to remain calm, neutral, and responsive around people, dogs, and everyday distractions while working with you as the handler. Dogs must already be prepared for the test in order to pass.

What’s included:
- Private CGC evaluation with an AKC approved evaluator
- Completion of all CGC test items
- Guidance on paperwork submission if your dog passes
- If your dog does not pass, that’s completely okay. You will receive clear feedback on what needs work and recommendations for next steps, including CGC prep training if needed.

Cost: $50 per dog

Important notes:
- This is an evaluation, not a lesson
- No coaching or training will be provided during the test
- Dogs that are not ready will not be passed
- Passing is based solely on CGC requirements, not effort or intent

Optional:
Dogs that need additional work can enroll in private sessions or a CGC prep program before retesting.
